All my design life I have been running away from brown.I believe it is because when I started designing, all homes were in brown.In particular my mum’s house was in brown.Design then was me transforming brown spaces to other colors apart from it. I did manage to convert a number of brown loving clients to neutrals however along the way I started meeting some resistance.Others started insisting at least some brown throws and elements here and there as I rejoiced in convincing them to avoid the brown sofa.

I did not know that I was yet to meet my match, this particular client put a knife through my design heart.She insisted on leather and brown recliners (again all my design life I have been convincing people that they do not need leather or recliners in their homes)I had convinced my mum not do get herself some leather sofa but immediately I moved out of her place she bought them) .

This time around I learned that design has no rules and that my work is to express clients desires in the most creative way I know how.This is what happened when I listened and worked around and through my clients needs.Take a look.
